The First Round Table
Marco and Elena Rossi open the original Round table pizza at 2118 W Broadway, Minneapolis, serving a modest menu of 8 classic pies to their neighborhood. The round table concept is born: a place where all are welcome.
Stone Oven Upgrade
We invest in our signature Italian stone ovens, capable of reaching 900°F. The crust becomes crispier, the flavors more complex, and word spreads across Minneapolis about our authenticity.
Minneapolis "Best Pizza" Award
Minneapolis Monthly Magazine names Round table pizza the city's best pizza for the first time — an honor we'd go on to receive four more times. Our team doubles, and we extend our dining room.
Farm-to-Table Partnership
We formalize our commitment to local sourcing, partnering with 12 Minnesota farms to supply fresh vegetables, dairy, and meats. Our menu expands to 25 artisan pizzas, including seasonal and vegan options.
Community Kitchen Program
We launch our Community Kitchen Initiative, donating 500+ meals per month to local shelters and hosting free pizza-making workshops for Minneapolis youth programs. Community isn't just our brand — it's our mission.
Online Ordering & Delivery Launch
